Messi won the Golden Ball for being the best player in this world cup. He has won everything in his football career including La Liga many times, Champions Leaugue few times, Copa America, and now the World Cup which was the icing on the cake as this is his last in the World Cup.
By far, Messi is the best player in football.

2. Maradona
