It never believed in working together. It thought it was smarter than every political group in Ethiopia and the wider Horn of Africa and play them like a game of chess.
Others may have feared it because it dominated Ethiopia by virtue of its strong diplomatic relations with the West. But almost no group respected it for its values.
As a result of its narrow selfish ways,
it became enemies with the OLF, EPLF, its partners in the EPRDF coalition, the unitary camp, independent pro-democracy activists, so-called Agar parties in the other regions, Somalia and even Sudan.
This obviously led to its gradual downfall and eventual surrender.
The Tigrayan diaspora has been brainwashed by the empty bravado of TPLF cadres but it is extremely difficult, if not totally impossible, to win when surrounded by so many enemies.
Perhaps it's a learning experience for Tigrayans and God willing this will give birth to a new Tigrayan party that believes in win-win.
May Peace Reign in the Horn of Africa!
