This is an interesting and informative discussion.

Victor Hugo: "No force on earth can stop an idea whose time has come."

Jane Elliot: "The idea of one race, the human race is an idea whose time has come... There is only one race on the face of the earth, that is the human race. We are all members of it... We are all in the same family. We are members of the family of man. "

ዶክተር ገመቹ መገርሳ፥ ነመ ጄዹ።

I remember Dr. Gemechu Megersa's unwitting spontaneous response to a question at a meeting or discussion forum, which was recorded and posted online. ነመ ጄዹ roughly means they say human.

So, the question here is whether the idea of one race on the face of the earth is an idea whose time has come or an idea that has been in existence among those that stayed around the equator all along?

I am appreciative of Mrs. Elliot's disposition of the idea of one race on the face of the earth here. I don't think the two versions are irreconcilable. They may present opportunities for even more deeper learning about how it existed since early on in some places and how it drifted from that early consciousness as people moved around different geographies.

More importantly, should such an idea need to have been asked for by any group in the same family? Should it have been too much to ask for?

Bless all the great scientists that discovered great things. However, what do scientific discoveries have to do with barbaric robberies? What does the genius Da Vinci's great discoveries have to do with Mussolini's barbaric bombings for robberies?

Was there any great scientist that discovered a great thing who has ever disagreed with what Dr. Gemechu Megersa unwittingly uttered as people saying naturally or with what Mrs. Elliot says is an idea whose time has come? I wonder.
