There is no IT named after a emperor the names are all geographical unless the institute is founded by the emperor like haileselassie university

Sorry, this reason does not make sense, it is much like there should not be an IT institute unless the founder is sitting in classes to to take some courses.ባለቤቱ ያልቀመሰውን ጠጅ፥ ደንበኛ አይጠጣውም ነው እያልከን ያለው። ችግር አለ? The fact that others do not have Emperors does not mean Ethiopians do not have to, okay. The question is why should this be named after Emperor Menelik? There are plenty of reasons, just a few. 1 ) He was the pioneer of civilization and modernization of Ethiopia. Telephone, car, banking, train, etc. 2) He is the father and symbol of African independence, he was not an ordinary village man or clan/tribe chief.

Why do significant people after their death awarded a posthumous honor doctoral degree? Did you ever questioned this same question when Meles Academy was created or just you are unhappy about Menelik? Something here smells fishy, man?
