1) Death Toll Statistics:
a) In the first 17 years Woyane Derg era rebel years 60,000 -100,000 Tigres rag tags died of war. Top this up with war made hunger and famine death with another 60,000 death, especially TPLF looting the food aid.

d) In the current war, in its second incursion Wollo - Shewa, about 900,000 Tigre rag tags were dead
2) Economic Loss:
All the gains TPLF achieved from decades of loot are almost wiped out. Businesses and industries are reduced to uselessness either destroyed or are made out of date because of protracted war. Savings are discounted to uselessness due to hyperinflation or locked out of bank and financial transaction. Livelihood from the rural villager to the City dwellers which for decades subsidized and supported by TPLF are gone forever. Even the TPLF savings in the looting company of EFFORT has been diverted to feed Western Lobbyists in stead of mouths of the poor Tigre back in Mekelle.
3) Psychological Defeat, Isolation and Stigma:
Feeling of loser is the worst type emotional feeling, especially after decades of told to be inflated with uniquely pride. And that wall of separation have been built for decades. And all of a sudden that wall destroyed by just ordinary force like Fano proved the empty brag. The most challenging aspect of this TPLF war is the readiness of Tigres to accept the new normal; that is the TPLF's defeat and start to live by earning their own livelihoods. The heinous crime TPLF committed against other ethnic groups, especially the demographic majority of Amhara makes it tough for others to trust and accept Tigre full-heartedly. This will be another tough frontline, in the context to social relation, Tigres have to prove their honesty, faithfulness and integrity which the TPLF has drained this age old value of down the toilet.

I do remember the chief architect Sebhat Nega once asked if Tigray should break away. He gave a simple answer saying" If Tigray declare independence will Amhara allow us to take away Humera, Wolqait and Raya? Are we dragging Tigray into the fire pit?" In other words, he was telling them all these territories and people belong to Amhara, his TPLF bandit simply stole them and lied to Tigray. Why are now Tigres dying and lose everything now is just mind boggling. It is too dumb.
2) OLF - this is a hate group. It is fueled and driven by hate, not by logic and history. OLF mission is undefined and are visionless.
