IMF says no update on stalled Ethiopia debt restructuring or fund visit
Reuters

LONDON — The IMF had hoped Ethiopia would move forward with restructuring its debt, fund spokesperson Gerry Rice said at a press conference on Thursday.

He told reporters he could not give an update on the progress of the negotiations under the Common Framework process or the date of a fund visit.

An IMF mission had been expected to visit in September, after Ethiopia’s bilateral creditors recommitted to providing debt relief in August, but there has since been renewed fighting in the country’s civil war. (Reporting by Rachel Savage; Editing by Toby Chopra)

The debt that TPLF looters have staked for years. The same debt that they are now using to buy such voices? Ethiopia has no option but to bite the dust and finish off the parasites. Then we will talk about not the 13th but the 7th. The OPDO gambling otherwise will only take OPDO to the abyss they never have imagined.
