This is the worst statement that Abiy has made that I heard. In fact, I couldn’t stomach to hear him even for a minute. Why the need to speak of the killings in US big cities. It doesn’t have any relation with the killing in Ethiopia. Most of the killings in US major cities are drug related, not identity based.
If he is interested to compare Ethiopians killing with other countries
why not choose Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, and many more which have not registered mass killing in decades which Ethiopia registered within a single year.
Why not compare the Ethiopian killing with our neighbor Kenya. This is the stupidest statement he has ever made.
Does Abiy want to compare the lives of American drug dealers with the lives of law-abiding Ethiopian farmers ? This is beyond ridiculous.
