This big bank now started with 185,000 shareholders. A contrast to Oromia International banks (year 2008) 17,000 shareholders and Tigres Wegagen Bank that went operational (1997) with 3100 share holders. The Amhara bank is late by 25 years from Tigres and 15 years late from Oromos bank. It will be a bank killer based on the amount of blessing it is receiving from the people of Amhara
I think only Jawar Mohammad understood what is coming. Jawars' predictions are good to make note. Jawar is young and can understand the newer and younger generation way better than PP, TPLF and OLF and fake Ethiopianists. Jawar knows the metamorphosis of the Oromo movement the last 15 years and how it unfolded to grab state power. Jawar is seeing similar stuff in Amhara and made his call saying that PP and all other external bodies need to engage in a dialogue with this new nationalism or else it will be of something very challenging. That was for the collective grievance the amhara people that is manifesting itself in the form of militant youth movement in a common umbrella name called FANO.
The opening of the Amhara bank is now a big news with friends and enemies. Amharas are unapologetic about it and fake Ethiopianists play a detractor role on this saying "Amharas have now joined Oromos and Tigres in the ugly ethnic nationalism that distroys the country"
I have been saying that the fake Ethiopianists are number one enemies of the Amhara people even before the tigres. All fake Ethiopianists want to do is to run their medias, wear a suit, talk endlessly and use Amhara farmer as foot solder against Tigres and Oromos who are on their peak with their nationalism. So ethiopianists are lazy azzzholers who want amhara to pay for their ego and yet, they are always in the harm way for Amhara. They appease Oromo and Tigre and that was pretty much what Haileselesee and Mengistu did. They used Amhara farmer as a soldier for their design and Poor amhara ended up being a boggy man to hate through out the region. It is for this reason that Amhara need to come distinct and separate itself from fake Ethiopianists. If Amhara need to align itself with Ethiopianists, the Ethiopianists need to advocate for the plight of Amhara much like honourable Tadios Tantu and quite a few southern intellectuals were doing.
Amhara nationalism is now spreading and manifesting itself in insitutions which should be encouraged. Only then Amhara can challenge and face Tigre and Oromo nationalists and effectively defeat them. By being too generous and not doing what the Oromo and Tigre nationalists doing (such as opening their own media, bank, community, churches....etc) amhara was setting itself for failure.
