Eden, I heard the first speaker. He just contradicts himself. According to him OLF says — the majority of Oromos have never said that — being an Ethiopian was imposed on them, not their choice. On the contrary, he said TPLF loved being Ethiopian, and in fact it was the creator of Ethiopia. I love that theory. To the South you guys sent a letter for them to sign on so that they would become Ethiopians. How nationalist you are ! It is getting more interesting, or weird, my dear.

Let me start by expressing my reservation around the favored use of imported word of ubuntu instead of crafting and using a term based on an indigenous ideas of Ethiopia itself. In Mob Politics everybody can get up and take the stage, without waiting for an invitation from the stage protocol managers!
These guys are dreaming for the "glory of the past" and that glory of the past lies in Mob Politics, again. Jawar Mohammed came to the scene using and heading Mob Politics and dying for it once again to get that back. The discussants of this round table are also part of the same Mob Politics. In Mob Politics the numbers are the only yardstick of success, the woman claimed to have counted "a record number of visitors" of their website/videos and as such claimed as a measure of her channel.
The Ethiopian mass has opted for getting away with the Mob Politics and the blame game will go on for the near future. Take you bitter pill here.
Jawar has not lost, he was behind the coins before and he is still collecting them and will do for the foreseable future, within the same framework of Mob Politics.
To her credit she told the Mob it is always preferable to take the side of peaceful struggle, another bitter pill!
The bottom line there was oppression and oppressor in Ethiopia, like anywhere else around the world, but thinking that line lied along the ethnic line of differences is simply an idea born out of Mob Politics.
