እነዚህ እራሳቸውን ጋዜጠኛ ነን። የሚሉት በማጭበርበር መከሰስ አለባቸው። ጋዜጠኛ ሳይሆኑ ጋዜጠኛ ነኝ ማለት አይችሉም። ጋዜጠኛ እኮ መማር አለብህ የጋዜጠኝነት ሕግ ማወቅ አለብህ ዝም ብሎ ብቻ መለፍለፍ ከቻልክ ጋዜጠኛ መሆን አትችልም። ወይ ደግሞ እራስ ህን የባህል ጋዜጠኛ ነኝ ማለት አለብህ ። አለበለዚያ በማጭበርበር አስር አመት መታስረ አለብህ።
እኛ ይህንን ጋዜጠኝነትን እንደቀልድ አይተነዋል። አንድ ዶክተር ቢሳሳት አንድ ስወ ነው የሚገድለው ። ግን አንድ ጋዜጠኛ ቢሳሳት ። አገር ያፈርሳል ፣ በሚሊዬን የሚቆጠር ሕዝብም ሕይወት ያጠፋል ። ሩቅ መሄድ የለብንም ሩዋንዳን ሚሊዬን ስዎችን ያስጨፈጨፉት እኮ የባህላዊ ጋዜጠኞች ናቸው ስለዚህ በጣም መጠንቀቅ አለብን።
ሁለተኛ ድረጃ በዲሞክራሱ እኮ አትገደልም እንጂ ማን አትታስርም አለህ። ግጥም አርገህ ትታስራለህ ካጠፋህ ስለዚህ ወይ ተደበደብኩ ፣ ተንገላታሁ ፣ ተገደልኩ እስካላልክ ድረስ ታስርኩ ብትል ይሳቅብሀል። ደደብ ሁሉ። አይ አገር ስታጠፋ ዝም ብለን እን ይህ። አሜሪካ አገር የስወ ስም ብታጠፋ፣ ወሽት ብትመዘግብ እኔ ያለ ቅጣት ነው የምትቀጣው ። እዚህ ግን ማንም ከልካይ የለባቸውም አብይ የ፬፭ ቢሊዬን ብር ቤተ መንግስት ሊገነባ ነው ብለው የአፍሪካን ሐገር ቤተ መንግስት ያሳዩናል ይህ ምን ይባላል።

My view is different
If there are Journalists that lack what the profession requires, let other who have what it takes put them out of the market through competition. Let people select the good from the bad.
You cannot have the government pick and choose media because it's going to pick what it serves its goal of prolonging its own power. Look at HGDEF. It jailed every Journalist except its state Journalists pushing its narrow interest against the public interest.
All professions have hazards but that's not a good excuse to ban the profession. Ethiopia has to learn to live with the Journalism profession and keep learning. Otherwise, what happened to Eritrea will happen to Ethiopia where only one idea is implemented without regard to public interest.
EXAMPLE:
If a thinker is born in Eritrea and this God sent thinker comes with an original idea of how to improves life for millions, that'll not be implemented because only one HGDEF idea is enforced by use of force. Ban Media at your own peril.

አንተ እንዳልከው ግን ጋዜጠኛ ስሌለሉን ያሉትን እንቀበላቸው። ወይም የተማሩት እስከሚመጡ ያሉት ያብኩት ፣ የተማሩት ካሽነፉ ደግሞ በወድ ድር አሽንፈው ጋዜጠኛ ይሁኑ። ወንድሜ አንድ ዶክተር ስሌለን አንዱ ተነስቶ ዶክተር ይሁን አትልም ስለዚህ ለምን ጋዜጠኝነትን እንዲህ አቀለልከው በማንም መሐይም የሚወራ አረግኸው። አንድ ያልተማረ ባህላዊ ጋዜጠኝ ዶክተር አብይ አርባ ቢሊዬን ብር ለቤተመንግስት ሊገነባ አውጣ ሊልህ ይችላል። አንድ የተማረ ጋዜጠኛ ግን ይህንን ወሬ ሳላረጋግጥ አላወራም ይላል። ታድያ ወሽታም ወሬ ስለሚጣፍጥ ሁሉም ወድ መሐይሙ ባለባህላዊ ጋዜጠኛ ስለሚሄድ እግ ከሌለ ባህላዊን ጋዜጠኞችን ማስቆም አይቻልም። አንዴ ጌታቸው ረዳ ሞተ ይሉሀል። ቀደማዊ አዜብ በኡጋንዳ በቢሊዬን እያጠፋቸ ነው ጦር ለማስለፍ ይሉሀል። እነዚህ ነው ወይ ጋዜጠኞች የምትላቸው።

These days,there aren’t that much differences between Activists and Journalists.
Traditional journalists are not free of biases .They decide what to report and who to interview.the only difference between journalists and activists is the former follows arbitrary rules,bloggers and activists are increasingly addressing public issues without adulterating the facts.
Sending activists,bloggers and journalists to ‘lock up’ is a symptom of a weak government that resorts to violence when challenged.

This regime that’s jailing these Journalists now ITSELF is the one that inundated the airwaves with many say is genocidal news and documentaries using it’s paid Journalists. The regime is not jailing it’s paid Journalists who implemented dangerous, many say Genocide oriented regime policy.
The regime is jailing Journalists that oppose the regime. Those Journalists that you allege called for Genocide then are still on PP payrolls and today they are focusing on Amara.
Your intentions are not the intentions of this regime. The regime is not interested in jailing those Journalists destabilizing the people. The regime ITSELF backs and funds Journalists destabilizing the people.
