White man will never grow out of discrimination and racism. They refer to her by "a Somali-born Muslim-American immigrant/refugee", even though she's proud of being both Somali and Muslim. Have you ever come across Henry Kissinger (Tarik's friend) being referred to by "a German-born Jewish-American immigrant/refugee", as he and his family fled the Nazis in 1938?
U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar met Wednesday with Pakistani leaders in the first visit by a member of Congress since a new coalition government came into power in Islamabad last week after the ouster of former premier Imran Khan.
According to a government statement, Omar met with President Arif Alvi at his office. Omar, one of only a handful of Muslim members of Congress, met with Khan earlier at his residence in the capital of Islamabad.
Omar is a Somali-born Muslim-American immigrant who represents Minnesota in the U.S. House of Representatives.

She referred to herself as "Somali-American".

She referred to herself as "Somali-American".

We all know and she doesn't shy away either from being Somali, Muslim, and a former refugee, but she has never used "a Somali-born Muslim-American immigrant/refugee" as a title.

Ilhan Omar star fading... she is hot tempered she is not very sophisticated... i wish if she is mix with golden race.. that would have give her boost that she luck and cool temper while making her point.. she is typical Somali shouting ... i wish she change now and cool down. otherwise i wish her the best

i was thinking Indonesia not Malaysia..... Indonesia is very rich Muslim countries and self made. and U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar could have help here state by attracting Indonesian investment to invest in her state.... instead she went to Pakstan black listed nation to talk about none of her business about the Kashmir ... she have zero inside information and balm the one billion Indian who have very good relationship with America ...
U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar could have used her golden opportunity to go to Africa and invite American investment and develop Africa instead of dancing with Religion extremist... anyhow this is one waste of golden opportunity...have a nice day.
