The richest 1% Nigerians are doing fantastic with their multi million dollar mansions in London, Paris, New York, etc, and their wealth, much like the country's oil, is financing the development of Western countries, much to the detriment of the Nigerians living below the poverty line. If Africans were to measure their self worth by what Westerners say about them, as opposed to by their own performance in what they deem valuable, the West African agame Nigerians would really take the cake.
Re: Eritrea vs the richest nation in Africa, Nigeria!!!!!!
Nigeria is the 5th largest oil producing country in the world, yet the country is nowhere near the oil rich Arab countries in terms of the living standards of its people. Foreign oil companies have acquired 100% ownership of Nigerian oil hiding behind the so-called "Nigerian investors" that slave for them in exchange for earning 1% of the profit, while the foreign companies siphon off a whooping 99% of the oil revenue in a broad day light.
