"Gambella, Somali, Afar & Benshagul Regions will disappear if Amhara annexation of Western Tigray is applied elsewhere"

Post by sarcasm » 12 Apr 2022, 08:25

Applied elsewhere, Gambella disappears. As does Somali, Afar, B-G, etc.

Other claims fed Amhara irredentism: 'TPLF ethnically cleansed Amharic speakers' or 'TPLF fiddled 1994 census'.

Constitution is clear - but sustained peace will require discussion.

Under FDRE, it's Western Tigray. Area put in Tigray on basis of demographics; majority Tigrigna speakers. Amhara annexation unconstitutional. Amhara historic claims not relevant to FDRE admin boundaries; so represent challenge to constitutional settlement.

All of the above regions existed courtesy of the constitutional federalism. A chain is no stronger than its weakest link. Their borders security (including Amhara's border security) is only as strong as the border security of Tigray, obviously.

You bring out your white poppy as if he says something else than what you barber day in and day out. He doesn't have even a clue that Welkit was incorporated to Tigray before the so-called weyane constitution come to be. Grab the land you want then stamp it with a constitution--that would make it engraved for eternity to make it yours. with all political acrobatics, you perform about welkeit one thing is for sure that without access to Sudan your irrelevancy is becoming much clearer to you all.

William Davison is one of few foreigners people who have deep understanding of the crisis in Ethiopia.
