Debretsion, the current president of Tigray grew up in Asmera, Eritrea's capital. Asmera was founded by Alula Abenega, a renown African general from Tembien, Tigray that won several battles against Italy and Egypt. Raisi Alula was governor of Asmera and Akodat, appointed by Emperor Yohannes IV
Generally Eritreans and Tigrayans speak Tigrigna. The Eritreans are more or less like The Agame population in Tigray. I was brought up to see Eritreans as my own sisters and brothers. We know Eritreans enjoy living in Tigray. But it is a pitty to see them suffer from inferiority complex. For Tigrayans from Tigray, they speak Tigrigna just naturally, like breathing in and out air. The colonized Eritreans try to outsmart the local population in Tigray. As usual Tigrayans smile and leave them comfortable well knowing they were former colonized people.

Debretsion came from Asmera and joined TPLF together with Meles who joined TPLF later. Issayas was preparing to sabotage TPLF so that it serves Issayas's interest. This did not go well. Debretsion opposed Meles's plan and was imprisned together with Manjorno. Generally, Debretsion has maintained a high level of Tigrayan nationalism and has been trying to unite Eritrea and Tigray under one plat form. He is apatriotic Tigrayan from Eritrea.

On the other hand a power hungary Berihu Berhe (Aregawi Berhe) who was founder of TPLF. Meles did not like Aregawi and made sure he was painlessly forced to leave TPLF. Aregawi came to The Netherlands crying like a small boy telling us all sorts of lies. It seemed Meles has punched him several times psychologically. We the inexperienced trusted Aregawi to stand for Tigray. After 2018 and specially after Novemebr 2020, Aregawi become a different person, as usual continue to lie and started supported the genocide of Tigray along side Amara expanisnists, Eritrean mercenary troops and Ethiopia's mercenary troops.

Debretsion will be the president of Ethiopia (most favorite candidate) or will continue administering Tigray, where as the likes of Berihu will be persecuted for crimes against humanity.

Debtresion, a Tigrayan of Eritrean origin, stood for Tigray leading the struggle up to this date. Thus all Eritreans should be supported to find shelter in Tigray and TDF should protect them in Tigray and elsewhere.
