One wonders if this is a real punitive measure or a creative media stunt. However, even if taken at face value, for a party which boasts to have 20 million members, purging a mere 0.05% of its thieves is nothing more than a stunt.

In this country we are unable to pay 4 months worth salaries of the men and women in uniform living in the trenches protecting us while basking with 20 million cadre leaching the same country. No shame at all!!

This is a classic one party rule propaganda. What is the culture of tribal one party rule? It is the culture of grand theft, corruption and rent-seeking. These are social parasites, non-productive, no value adding exploiters of those who create value, toil and produce goods and services for society. While we are decrying literally about anything we are also now become a synonym for those who are hated everywhere around the world "Ethiopians don't want to go home".

Israeli authorities have banned Ethiopian Christian pilgrims groups from visiting the country for the upcoming Easter holiday over fears they will not return home, Israeli television reported Sunday.

According to Channel 13 news, tourism agencies recently received a letter from the Population and Immigration Authority that said due to the ongoing civil war in Ethiopia, there were concerns “these tourists will not head back due to it.”

The letter also said that any Ethiopian who wishes to visit Israel must do so personally by contacting the authorities online.

We have lived. Under different governments to know that when a real corrective action is taken against none law abiding elements the problem subsidies or entirely removed.. Now the governments says it killed Jal Mero,Mero, showing a fake picture, Jal Mero.gives interview a week after he supposedly was killed on BBC . If the same thing keeps on happening after corrective action is taken year after year the question should be asked why? Either the government is incapable of protecting its citizens or its not willing to take appropriate action to resolve it. Which one is it Brother DTT? The former is easy the latter is a problem.

How could a tribalist(ethnic) party took corrective measures and be applauded for?

1) Has it changed its party ideology and transformed itself from primitive clan based chiefdom to 21st century citizenry ideology based participatory democracy? or

2) Has it trimmed of its membership size and undergone quantitative change - with no substantive or qualitative change?
