Isaias sun is setting while TPLF sun is re-rising!
The rivalry and love and hate relationship between the two " Tigrayan hard core " gorilla movements that brought the Minilik built Ethiopian Empire to it's knees during the Derg time has been going on for five decades. The root of this rivalry extends to the time the Tigrayans of the South and the North were divided through the conspiracy and love affair between Italy and Minilik. As part of their divide and rule strategy, the Italians brainwashed the Tigrayans in Eritrea to feel non-Tigrayan, civilized and superior to their brothers in the South. The Minilik Ethiopia has been also trying it's best to marginalize the Tigrayans in Ethiopia and use them to spy on their brothers in Eritrea. Migration of Tigrayans in Ethiopia to the then much developed Eritrea also created unhealthy economic competition between the two Tigrayans. This historical development resulted in identity crises ( denial of their Tigray identity) and strong anti Tigray sentiment among the Tigrayans in Eritrea which divided the mind set of the two Tigrayans with a conflicting vision of their respective future. As Isaias sun is setting in and the establishment of a Tigray friendly government is on its way in Eritrea , a time is coming for the two Tigrayans to live together in harmony in an integrated economy but separate political arrangement. The wall that was created by Minilik and Italy shall be abolished once for all! Peace to the Tigrayans and the Horn of Africa!
