Most of Amhara ellities used to deny the existence of Amhara nationality until recently, however, this time most of them have become " ultra fundamentalist Amhara nationalists " that are determined to destroy other federalist nationalist forces such as OLA, TPLF etc. They still dream to reestablish the archaic united Ethiopia where Amharas dominate ( under the cover of ኢትዮጵያዊነት). This dream will make the existing Amhara state a battle ground for the next few years until it is defeated by the Oromo-Tigray hard core allied federalist forces. It may take 2 to 3 years to re-stabilize the Amhara state.

Amhara has nothing to lose. Amhara was a prime target by Agames and Gallas for the last 30 years. for so long, amhara was on the receiving end when it comes to brutality and eviction. amhara just started to pay in kind and by far, this is not proportionate yet. As to the so-called ethiopianist amharas, they have no where to stand in this. they are just floating on air and the last batches to understand Abiy tricked and outplayed them. TPLF and OLF in reality are exactly like a Fly closed in a bottle, running up and down for decades but failed to achieve anything. Finally the Fly got tired and died off fatigue. Every time I read TPLF or OLF thugs trolling, I think of the time and their are spending that for sure has nor return on their investment.

These ethnic or tribal are in complete bankruptcy, no matter what.

who are federalist forces? do you really think TPLF and OLF are federalist forces? Do you really think the minority 27 rule as federal rule? We can say the same about OPDO now. True federalism never took place in Ethiopia. Both TPLF and OLF try to use Federalism for power purposes than federalist essense so stop calling yourself federalist forces.

As to the three lists you mentioned, amhara is OK in all options so long as there is good heart amongst the infiriority complex haunted agames and gallas. lets see all the scenarios you mentioned

1) federalist (similar to Oromo & Tigray) - if you want that, agames need to vacate our historical land (Welkait & Raya) it is our land and you can live peacefully. any attempt to claim is daylight robbery so you will fall from grace just like you did the last 4 years. Gallas also need to evict amharas brutally harassing them. they need to stop finfinne game else we can envoke and demand abyissinia of the 16th century before the invasion and clensing by Gallas. Or also, we can send their 1 million brothers in Kemise and throw them at arusi. fair game, and an eye for an eye. That is true federalism for us. in Agames federalism, only agames got benefited working and thriving everywhere and we know that

2) Archaic Unitary Ethiopia - Amhara is ok on that as well if it brings peace, equality, strength and tranquility. That choice rests on all Ethiopians, not only amharas.

3) Independent Amhara - Amhara also can sustain and thrive as independent country if the push continues. Amhara has enough land mass, rivers and man power to make it as a country. But we do believe on unity and unity means strength in this global order so amharas unity with Afars and Southerners including Somalis is highly sought. If this does not materialize, amhara can make it alone. no worries

In the end the people of Amhara only want fairness and to live in peace with everyone. the problem is that inferiority complexed Gallas and Agames are scared that their children might melt away in the infectious amhara culture and become full blown Ethiopians. we do understand your fear but there is nothing that can be done. The solution is on your hand i.e work on yourself, live peacefully and let others love you and adopt your way of life. that is the only winning card that can make you feel good. that means, adopt the amhara attitude

I fully agree most Amharas we're sidelined during the 27 years TPLF/EPRDF time except the opportunistic politicians who were with TPLF for money and power. However, Amharas have to blame themselves for being sidlened because they were not able to adapt and organize themselves timely to challenge or support the change TPLF/EPRDF brought to Ethiopia. Federalism has benefited Amhara as it united the divided regions and created a bigger economic and political heavy weight state. Isaias and the archaic Ethiopia dreamers want the Amhara people to waste their time on minor issues like Humera, Welkait, Metekel etc, instead of building the Amhara state and reclaiming it's determinant role on the future of Ethiopia. During the 27 years a number of Universities , industries, and other infrastructure we're established and constructed through out the Amhara state and cities like Bahirdar have been remodeled and expanded with modern buildings and roads. But with the potential the Amhara state has more could have been done if the Amhara politicians and the people worked together and be assertive in the Ethiopian political system.
