Exactly. Abiy Ahmed must stand by his words if he wants support he must begin arming and preparing the people of Amhra and Afar who live near Tigray to defend themselves . He should begin arming as many civilians as possible instead of wasting money on empty libraries!

Yes, defense of a country is not necessarily the same as supporting a political party, I don't think I also said or implied that anywhere.

But one thing must be clear: a country can't exist in a vacum, a country needs to be protected and administered well to function and sustain itself into the future.

A country is protected and administered by a party in power, with the support of those in the opposition, if there are any in our case.

If you are attacking the party which is in charge of managing the affairs of the country, without having any better, or even with equal qualifications, as an alternative, then you are inadvertently attacking the country, which you purportedly claim to support.
