- The Egyptian ambassador after a meeting with “Al-Atta”: The views between Khartoum and Cairo coincide

A member of the Sovereignty Council, Yasser Al-Atta, met today, Tuesday, at the Republican Palace, the Egyptian ambassador, Hossam Issa.
The Egyptian ambassador said in a press statement that the meeting came within the framework of distinguished contacts and relations between Khartoum and Cairo, noting that the meeting was characterized by frankness and transparency.
He added that the meeting dealt with the strategic relations between Egypt and Sudan in all fields, pointing to the congruence of the two sides' views and their common desire to strengthen and support relations to reach the stage of full integration.
The Egyptian ambassador said that the two sides believed in the importance of exploiting the huge opportunities available and moving forward with strategic projects linking the two countries.
He stressed that the meeting assured the importance of continuous cooperation and coordination in all issues of common interest.
