( 1) How Mengistu was addicted to a civil war that he was never able to win
Mengistu Hailemariam started his fight with EPRP in the cities and with EDU in Gondar , Humera and Welkait , he also fought with Somalia and pushed them out of Ethiopia. After that he declared " የምስራቁ፥ ድል፥በሰሜኑ፥ይደገማል፤" and went to Eritrea and Tigray to destroy both of them. The propaganda was only focusing on ELF and EPLF and there was no mention of TPLF for so many years , even though the war in Tigray was incrementally growing and intensifying from time to time. Then came the "ቀይ፥ኮከብ፥ዘመቻ፥ was launched by Mengistu to destroy EPLF with the slogan of "ላአንዴና፥ለመጨረሻ፥፥ጊዜ፥ለመደምሰስ". but EPLF and TPLF jointly foiled it and Mengistu was humiliated never to recover again, even though he never stopped launching battle campaign after campaign until he was forced out of Ethiopia as the TPLF/EPRDF army was closing to Addis Ababa.
(2) How Abiy is following the war addiction legacy of Mengistu Hailemariam
Abiy started his 1st battle experience in Somalia , followed in Wellega and after that in Benshangul. His 1st battle gamble success in Somalia encouraged him to wage battle after battle until finally conspired with Isaias to invade Tigray. He promised the Tigray battle to be swift and declared victory after one month while the war was going hidden, Abiy and his generals were declaring TPLF has been destroyed and they are just rounding and arresting the remnants of TPLF. However, as the war was getting more fierce, Abiy suddenly declared that fighting is going on at eight fronts in the begining of April 2021 and the rest is history. Currently Abiy is preparing for the final war (similar to Mengistu) and let us wait when he will wake up from his addiction and call for rehabilitation center assistance and peaceful negotiation.

Ascari dog you live in your self inflated image! TPLF and EPLF helped each other during the Derg time. I am proud of that history as it helped both TPLF and EPLF to achieve their respective goals. Claiming EPLF carried TPLF to Arat Killo is a lie, you better ask your EPLF friends. The fact that the combined forces of Isaias, Abiy and Amhara hardliners were defeated recently in Tigray by TDF and the Tigrayan people is an indicative of who played the critical role even on the defeat of the Military Government. Ascari slaves have never built a single city, a single successful institution even unable to maintain the city that your colonial master Italia has built for you. Even you do not have a constitution in the 21st century and you are life time slaves and mercenary for whoever's want to l use you . As of today you are being paid and used as slave and mercenary for Abiy, and have been ruled by the life time Tigrayan dictator Isaias, shame to you!

Birhanu Jula still feels he has not yet started the war and he is predicting a major victory on TDF. That is how an addicted gambler feels every time he loses and play until he sells his car, house and lastly he loses his wife and children. At that time he realizes that he made a mistake. It looks Abiy and Birhanu Jula will know the reality when the Ethiopian people revolts against them.
