Oh boy, idiot Abiy has thrown our wonderful Ambassador Taye under the bus. How is he going to get a written complaint made to the UN about the expelled stuffs and pass it to the UN general secretary. It never existed.

You think this stout diplomat make outlandish statements in front of the UN security counsel had he not have an evidance under his sleeve ? don't count on it. I am 100% sure the written complaint never existed. If it did the Ambassador would have it and produce it right there. That is why the smart Ambassador said he woul ask the relevant body in the government for the documents ( saving himself from embarrassment). I am extremely proud of the ambassador though, he is a real diplomat and a smart one.

Surely the ET UN Ambassador has made an outstanding presentation of the matter. He meticulously cited every key points.
That said, one may wonder why the UNSC has made this odd convention despite the following facts (as per the UN charter):
1. Ethiopia is a sovereign nation and its decision of expulsion of the said staff based on evidenced transgressions (note: a country can expelle even without providing justifications) they practiced
2. I believe that the ET Ambassador is not a character who compromises his professional integrity to say things he has no evidence. Not like that of Anthrax Collins Paul. At least, we have leaked Audio now in the public hands and am sure and do trust that the ET gov has alerted the UN office about the misconduct of some of the staff (right from the ones who tried to break security checkpoints)
3. Given the above two points, how come Gutterese made prior accusation that ET has violated international law before any investigation is made? He said he doesnt have any knowledge about the wrong doings of "his" staff and he wants to have documents. Why he shouldnt wait until the evidences are presented and investigations are made? Before still pointing fingers to ET
In my humble assessment, the implication of UN staff with links to senior UN staff in NY and other hands (primarily US) is laud and clear. Any further investigation means exposing many at very high level. They dont want that to happen. What I would expect is there will be a backdoor intimidation of ET should she insists for investigation. A portion of visibly hot comments of Gutterese highlights that. The said staff wouldnt surely be back to ET and the investigation will fall flat to save the ar$ of Gutterese and other senior UN parties, including Biden himself.
Generally speaking, there has not been justice in international politics, be it at UN or elsewhere. All what matters and dictates is the power balance the country has. The UN and US insinuation against ET is unforgivable and would remain in the annals of ET history.
