Ethiopia will not have a leader like Meles ever again. That chapter of Ethiopian political history was closed forever. But I wonder why Eden is infatuated with him. He might be an outstanding student, but he was an underperforming politician. His understanding of politics is below average. Case in point he was shocked by the performance of Kinijit in Addis during the 2005 election. But he lived in the city for more than a decade before that election was held. People confuse political knowledge with political intrigue. Meles has been super in the latter.
Remember how he aligned himself with the so called Amhara politicians to kick out known TPLF politicians from his party. This backstabbing is not an example of leadership expected from a leader of a political party and a country. It is a performance expected of mafia Godfather.
