This is the work of a pure exaggeration to justify requests for further funding in the name of humanitarian response in Somalia, which as usual gets lost to corruption orchestrated by the donours themselves.
Their claim doesn't reflect the reality on the ground at all, as only a handful of families have moved out of their districts relocating to other districts in Mogadishu. The situation has calmed down anyway, as Farmajo has decided to go back to the parliament dropping his term extension.
30% of aid gets lost to corruption and never reaches its destination – Ban Ki-moon.
Expect that figure to be much higher!
