Abiy must stand firm and tell USA that if you sanction Eritrea, that means you are enemy of Ethiopia too.
Abiy must be firm and tell USA to mind her business and dont even think of sanctioning the only friend of Ethiopia, that is Eritrea.

If the Abiy government fails to stand by the side of Eritreans to stop any unjust sanctions targeted at them, Ethiopians will be his first enemy. Why would one wants to see Eritreans suffering like they did for the last 27 years? No more divide and rule. Let everyone know, it is not about this or that country. The situation of Ethiopia and Eritrea is unique than the rest of the word. To me, they are two sides of a coin, if one burns one side of the coin the other side will burn too. We had been tricked for the last many decades - we did earn nothing because we failed to discover the why. It be will be only just if we thrive together.

And, how is that a dignified behaviour? Take Eritrea out of the equation for a second & think how honorable is it, to throw someone or something "under the bus"?
Alas, that's what to expect from sêgera. But today, and unfortunately for such like him, Ethiopia has people of high character/calibre & moral fortitude in leadership positions.
