Why did OPDO betray TPLF ?
The answer is simple. TPLF was paranoid of the Oromo power. TPLF during its reign may have been paranoid of the Amharas but it looked down on the Oromos. For instance, Why did EPRDF replace Meles position as a prime minister with Hailemariam Desalegn from southern nationalities and deputize him with Amhara (Mekonen) and Tigrean (Debretsion). That was fear and disrespect to the majority population, namely the Oromos. Why did TPLF put more Oromos in federal prison ( Remember ,,,Siyes' qoute that the prison speaks Oromigna ) Because the TPLF leadership was paranoid with the Oromos.
