The Tigre-BaHre-mesmes are also Original to the region.... this shows the recent settlers like qomiches have nothing to do with the whole region. It is the qomiches and not the Oromos who had been bothering the Tigre-werjri people since 1990

Before Addis Abeba or finfine came into existence, Akaki village, the suburb of Addisaba, used to exist with its own population. Those inhabitants in the village of Akaki were Werjis. Akaki is still the hometown of Werjis. Werjis I know are Affan Oromo speakers, but I don't know where this prefix " Tigre" comes from to be added on top of Werji.

Most of Shewa is from Tigray. The Original settlers around 4th Century AD or before are from Tigray. Then came the Muslim expansion, but did not affect the mountainous area. Later came Amara from West Africa to Bale Region and migrated to Shoa. The Amara in Shaoa and Oromo are Bantu African Warrior Tribe and have nothing to do with Aksumite Kingdom. Tigre-Werji are Tigrayans. Oromo and Tigrayans have been co-operating at least since the time of Emperor Yohannes.
