Near Mekele Airport, Army base after wedimedhin and Meshrefet entered Mekele, is totally devastated in z last 10 days
This indirectly proves the major defeat wedimedhin and Meshreft Armies faced around Mekele in the last week or so. It is sad to see the environment of Mekele being burnt like this and may never recover. Many forests and parks in Tigray are being collaterally and intentionally being burnt because of this war. 12 hectares is a huge place, almost the size of a major wereda-level Ethiopian town. And imagine how many innocent civilians could have died when such a vast area in the outskirts of a big city is burnt with various modern munition. Tigray is paying too much and will have to pay more to secure its freedom and to bury its enemies by going to wherever they may hide. Wedimedhin intentionally burned many parks and forests in Shire and central Tigray. I'm pretty sure there will be drought in the coming rainy season affecting not only Tigray but also cursedartera. Mark my words on this! Tigray worked so hard on afforestation in the last 30 years, and now all the massive gains are lost overnight due to this genocidal war on Tigray.
