If what you say that she was dead long time before the Hachalu assassination, you should use this evidence that the Media was using false claim to insight violence and a charge can be filed, but all you have was a paper writing only this is not enough in a court of low cos they could be fabricated easily.

1) - Remember that one of the main source of the lie was the claim that says that "mobs of oromo youth angered by the murder of Hachalu Hundessa killed the pregnant woman by BEHEADING HER WITH A SWORD!". But, had you read the second note I added carefully, you would've noted that the "the oromo protest in relation to Hachalu's murder took place 20 days before the woman was killed in a completely different circumstances. Hence & on that basis, the killers were not the "an angry mob of Oromo qeerros angered by Hachalu's death" but some other people with a completely different motive to raid/attack that family, resulting in the killing of the woman [assuming that is true].

2) - The other issue/lie was the blatant - and VERY DANGEROUS - claim that claimed that "a christian woman was beheaded by a mob of islamic oromo youth wielding a sword" when, in reality, the woman died in a child birth & at a hospital in Hawassa!. The nasty intention of the claim was?? .. yes! .. to incite inter religious war between the mostly muslim oromos & the christian habeshas living in Shashemene. Maybe the woman was affected by the incident when "the thieves" tried to raid the family home. But, she was not BEHEADED by islamic oromo youth [qeerro] angered by Hachalu's murder. See? .. But, we shall learn more on this issue in the coming days.

I think you are more abhorred by the style of their killing than the loss of life.wether they beheaded her or push her to the cliff, she lost her life. what does it matter which way she is dead you should be condemned to the violence, especially violence against children and vulnerable people all together.

I suspect that some nasty people with an anti-oromo agenda crafted a misleading narrative that linked the incident (theft?) to their made-up story that claimed that: "islamic oromo youth wildly attacking christians & murdering them in the most barbaric fashion [beheading]" for their own political gain by painting oromos as "barbaric people". Then, they cauched/trained the family to describe that same narrative to a habesha gossip media that made it to go viral.

Remember: similar claims had triggered deadly inter-religious or inter-communal wars in many parts of the world. But, we shall learn more on this issue in the coming days.

OMG! .. THE MOTIVE of the killing is one of the issues people are trying to figure-out, not whether the killers were oromos or not.

The reports claim that the killers beheaded a pregnant woman as part of Hachalu's death when, in fact, the oromos made their protest 20 days before the woman "was killd/behaded" plus there was NO oromo protest on the day the woman was killed.

The other issue is that the woman was NOT beheded but died of natural causes in a hospital [child birth]. Hence lots of holes in the story.

Remember that the alleged incident took place 20 days after the death of Hachalu & there was no protest in Shasahamene on the day the woman was allegedly attacked/killed.

2. The innocent people who were killed were Oromo, Amhara and other ethnics...Which shows that it was not ethnic based.... But there is clear evidence Christians were killed because of their religion.

3. The business destroyed belonged to Oromo, Amhara and other ethnics. This also shows that it was not ethnic based either.... But there is clear evidence that businesses owned by Christians were destroyed.

4. Remember that the vast majority of the killed in Shashemene were ethnic Oromos not habeshas or members of other tribes.

Some say that about 95% of the killed are in fact ethnic Oromos. I want to correct some of Hawzen's statements, the ethnic cleansing was discriminatory, actually, those who came to commit the crime had a list who to attack , which bussness to burn down. In shasemene the Oromo business were left alone standing while the business of others next door was burned or looted: the ethnic cleansing had both ethnics and religious nature. Their first targest were Amharas, next were other nationalities,mainly Gurages and Tigrians..The Oromos that were targted were Orthodox Oromos, or Oromos who tried to help other nationalites. If you look closly your statements " it was not ethnic based" wasn't true.

Now the hutttus are on the denial phase of their heinous crimes. Those who are killed are killed because they are perceived to be Amhara. Any city dweller who speak Amharic and of are Christians by religion are by default considered as Amhara. The Oromos killed are Christians or those who were killed as a side effect of the rampage they carried out. I have heard that some of the Qerros were incinerated inside a warehouse they burned because there were explosive and flammable items in the warehouses.

The day before the attack, the Oromiya police went to a house to house search in Shashemene and other Cities to confiscate any tools that the "neftegnas" could use to defend themselves.
