Amharic was a dialetct of shepherds in Tigray, it became a separate language due to Agew and Oromo influences.

But the gudelamharu upstarts, converts, and other trkimrkis do not give credit to the makers of Amharic; first foremost Tigreans, but also Agews followed by Oromos.

Oromiffa gave Amharic many terms, proverbs , and idiomatic expressions ( EG:aramba Ena Qobo)

Oromifaa terms such:
Gugs
Adara
Balagara
Arada
Baqela
Beqolo
Aba Wara
Qeyo ..
and countless many others play irreplaceable role in Amharic.
