Brian, one of the smartest physicists of our time humbly explains individual variability and need for religion in the evolutionary circuit. But, there are a whole psychological variables to consider when it comes to religion. There are psychopath and delusional people, some outright criminals, in the world of religion who pose danger to the regular person who believes in the almighty in his or her benign day to day living. It is okay to fear and worship the unknown provided that no one is hurt physically, financially or psychologically as a result.

Sure, not all some are psychopath, some aren’t :P . Most of fanatic religious people in Ethiopia, in general, are far less educated than those who are not. Actually, their world view consisting entirely on blind faith is indicative of a complete lack of education. A religion is nothing more than an attempt at explaining the universe. Modern science is by far, a much more effective tool for doing so.
