Ethiopians hate Tigrayans, not because TPLF had done more crimes than Mengistu or Haile Selassie. It is because the Amhara or Guraghe or Oromo are tribalists. Only their tribe should rule Ethiopia.

Revolutions start in one place. Those coming from a definite area could lead the revolution or armed struggle. That is what TPLF did. It initiated the armed struggle to overthrow mengistu and TPLF played a key role in establishing post -Mengistu Ethiopia. The Amhara tribalists instead co-operating and advsing TPLF to transform the ystem into democracy, they sided with Eritrea and overthrew TPLF ( by the way Eritrea and Tigray are not enemies, have never been enemies- there is a family rivalry for power and history).

They called TPLF-EPRDF a minority government, which was not. TPLF was fairly distributing the posts to all ethnic groups.

The Amhara and Oromos or Guraghes are tribalists. They care little about Ethiopia. Ethiopia as a country has lost many things since Abiy Ahmed Ali, an Oromo and a muslim took power.
