Coalition for Democratic Federalism (CDF) of Jawar can Make Difference in Ethiopia

We fought for, advocated and wrote about such unity of Oromo forces in the last many years and now we are seeing the fruit. Leaders of Oromo forces (OFC, OLF & ONP) already agreed on common goal of consolidating and democratizing ethno-federation (the language based federalism) for benefit of all nations and nationalities. Thanks to Waaqa, the Oromo are already in control of Caffee Araara’s palace after about 150 years of struggle. Now, we have to be in charge of Finfinne, as the heart and brain of Oromo nation, despite all the cry from anti-Oromo forces. Then, it is up to the Oromo to consider all the following five layers of Oromia:

We have seen many many times before that such so called coallation forces being created and ended up without any meaningful consequences afterwards, why are we suppossed to assume it will be any different this time around?

Just because an Oromo is leading the country and an oromo opposition to the incumbent should be a matter of that urgency ?

Last but not least, we could see during the last discussions and after the Oromo Americans conference that there is no any significant ideological difference of goal among the different Oromo forces, which can hinder them not to forge unity and not to work together. They only needed to be ruled by the Oromo tradition of ilaa fi ilaame and discuss on the way forward for the Oromo people. Then, cooperation and coordination of Oromo federalist movement with Oromian independence movement is the optimal condition to determine our fate in the next step of our journey and to plan a further move to the end. If united and empowered in such sense, the Oromo can make a difference not only in Ethiopian union, but even in the whole Horn and in the continent. So let’s foster unity of purpose and move together forward! Being led by the charismatic and visionary leaders like Jawar, we can make the five layers of Oromia our future convenient home! The formation of CDF is in deed encouraging! May Waaqa help the Oromo!

No Oromo in Ethiopia. They are Kenyans. Oromo or Galla nothing common with ancient Ethiopia. The land they occupy now is taken from non-Oromo Ethiopians and should be given back to them. Oromo or Gall should be deported as they are source of instability for Ethiopia. They are nomads and lazy people. they want to live at the cost of Ethiopians and are caliming land that was never Oromo or Galla before 16th Century.
Non-Oromo Ethiopians should be realistic. The Oromos have displaced 3 million non-oromo and are planning to populate Addis with Oromos from the rural areas. We need to be fair for history and our forefathers. I was taken away by the oppression the Oromos had to sustain by Tigray-Amhara ruling classes. However, the Oromo are simply evil and anti-Ethiopia. They serve the interests of Egypt and other countries by proxy. A war to annihilate the Oromo is a pre-condition for peace in Ethiopia. No Oromo has been an Ethiopian.
