By now every citizen in the country knows that the federation as structured was in name only and geared disproportionately to benefit the few TPLF political elites. If their region was benefited somehow, it was aimed to create the appearance of legitimacy to their constituency so as to perpetuate their hegemony. The federation was designed only to be functional while the minority junta was staying at the helm. It basically was a system of unitary government where all rules and regulations were flowing from the center and strict execution expected from the satellite parties who were hatched by TPLF for such purpose.
