የጤና ሚኒስትር ይፋ ያደረገው አገራዊ መረጃ በምዕራባውያን አገራት ከሚታየውም ሆነ “ኮሮና የሽማግሌዎች በሽታ ነው” ከሚለው የብዙዎች አባባልና አመለካከት በተለየ መልኩ፣ በአገራችን በኮሮና ቫይረስ ከተጠቁት መካከል አብዛኞቹ በወጣትነት ዕድሜ ክልል ውስጥ እንደሚገኙ ያመለክታል፡፡

Lesotho now has the first confirmed case of COVID-19


The Ministry of Health informs the Basotho nation and the entire Community living in Lesotho, that the country now has the first confirmed case of COVID-19. On the 09th May 2020, The Ministry conducted 81 (eighty one) tests for COVID-19 from travellers from South Africa and Saudi Arabia.

የቀድሞ የኤርትራ ዲፕሎማት በኮሮናቫይረስ ህይወታቸው አለፈ

በእንግሊዝ መቀመጫቸውን አድርገው የነበሩት የቀድሞ የኤርትራ ዲፕሎማት አቶ አፈወርቂ አብርሃ በኮሮናቫይረስ መሞታቸውን ቤተሰባቸው ለቢቢሲ አረጋግጠዋል።

የ71 አመቱ ዲፕሎማት ለባለፈው አንድ ወርም በፅኑ ህሙማን ክፍል ውስጥ የነበሩ ሲሆን ተደራራቢ ህመም አልነበራቸውምም ተብሏል።

ኤርትራ ከኢትዮጵያ ስትገነጠል በኢትዮጵያ የመጀመሪያው ዲፕሎማት የነበሩት አቶ አፈወርቂ በእንግሊዝም በዲፕሎማትነት እንደ ጎርጎሳውያኑ 1996- 2001 አገልግለዋል።

ከህይወት ታሪካቸው መረዳት እንደሚቻለው ዲፕሎማቱ የፖለቲካል ሳይንስ ምሩቅ እንዲሁም ሩሲያ በመሄድ ኬሚስትሪ አጥንተዋል። እንደ ጎርጎሳውያኑ አቆጣጠር 1975 የሻዕቢያን ጦር ከመቀላቀላቸው በፊትም በጀርመን ነዋሪ ነበሩ።

ባለቤታቸው ፋጥና አህመዲን አርቲስት እንዲሁም የቀድሞ ታጋይ የነበሩ ሲሆን በለንደንም በደረሰባቸው አደጋ ሙሉ በሙሉ አካላቸው ፓራላይዝድ በመሆኑ እሳቸውም ለባለፉት ሃያ አመታትም ሲንከባከቧቸው ነበር ተብሏል።

በቅርብ የሚያውቋቸው ጓደኞቻቸው "ትሁት፣ ሰው አክባሪና ቤተሰባቸውን የሚወዱ ነበሩ" ይሏቸዋል።

ኤርትራዊው ዲፕሎማትና በአፍሪካ ህብረት ልዩ ተወካይ ሆነው ያገለገሉት ሃይለ መንቆርዮስም ለቢቢሲ እንደተናገሩት " ከታጋይነት ወደ ባለሙያነት በቀላሉ መሸጋገር የቻለና ታማኝ ሰውም ነበር" ብለውታል።

No virus-free country in Africa as Lesotho confirms index case

The coronavirus pandemic has been confirmed in over 180 countries globally since it was first discovered in the Chinese city of Wuhan in late December 2019.

The World Health Organisation, WHO, has since declared it a pandemic due to its spread. All African countries except Lesotho have since recorded cases as governments roll out measures to combat the spread.

In this article, we will share the latest developments as authorities implement measures to contain the spread of the virus, especially on the African continent.

- እስካሁን ኮቪድ-19 ያልተገኘባት አፍሪካዊቷ ሀገር ሌሴቶ ዛሬ ለመጀመሪያ ጊዜ የኮሮና ቫይረስ በሀገሪቱ እንደተገኘ አሳውቃለች።

በሱማሊያ ተጨማሪ 49 ሰዎች በኮሮና ቫይረስ መያዛቸው ተረጋገጠ!

ባለፉት 24 ሰዓት በሱማሊያ ተጨማሪ 49 ሰዎች በኮሮና ቫይረስ መያዛቸው ተረጋግጧል። አጠቃላይ በቫይረሱ የተያዙ ሰዎች ቁጥርም 1,219 ደርሷል።

በሌላ በኩል በትላንትናው ዕለት አራት (4) ሰዎች ከበሽታው ማገገማቸውን ተከትሎ አጠቃላይ ከበሽታው ያገገሙ ሰዎች ቁጥር 130 ደርሷል።
