Both Selam, Abere and Misraq understood the perils of ethnic politics and suggested for its eradication.

From what I understand, Selam believes in the unwavering human rights of every citizen in Ethiopia including the freedom of movement and the right to live wherever he / her chooses in Ethiopia, under the rules of law.
THAT IS A POLITICAL STRUCTURE. A Political structure includes the constitution, judicial and legislative.
Deservedly it is a priority.
Noted that Selma’s point, attacking those based on their tribe is wrong.

Abere stated ethnic based political parties should be banned and should not be allowed in a new transitional government. FANO is a resistance movement. Well said. Its mission will end when the oppressors and killers are decimated and it will not be part of a transitional government. The transitional government is where to start.

Misraq hated ethnic politics. But is a champion of the Amharas defending themselves. He is reserved to suggest what steps should be taken next.

How and when is the transitional government be formed. By who? What are its mandate?

Great discussion. Unfortunately, the new Listro nationalists are trying to ruin the flow of conversation that requires deep level thoughts and responses.

The Beher Behereseb nationalists are now deeply entrenched not only in the political sphere, but in the religious sphere as well particularly in the form of Pentecostal cults and islamo fascism (wahabism)

Weyanne TPLF created a huge mess for all of Ethiopian soul and for its own Tigray. It needs scientific research on the best way to coexist in the future.

In my view, the toxic ethno politics, anti-Ethiopian and anti Amhara sentiment needs a generation or two to clean assuming Ethiopia has a good will and high moral leadership post OPDO.

Therefore, a progressive and incremental step is necessary to get to where you suggested. In principle, I agree with you in the end game but I defer in the approach and length or span to implement it.
