All these people who became the ardent defender of the woman here have been ardent critics of Abiy Ahmed all along, for whatever reason. The problem with all of them is also that they can't even put in concrete terms where their aversion against the PM comes from, except the common unfounded allegations of labeling him OLF.
They took this event also as an opportunity to take a step towards their defamation against the PM as if the woman was charged with "opposing Abiy Ahmed". I remember Worku Aytenew's comment recently on a tv-interview saying the PM made the national palace a free place for every citizen to take a walk into, without any fear anymore.
While claiming to oppose the PM they found themselves now opposing the interest of the country and with that they are also at odds with the people of Ethiopia at large, which puts them in a nerveous state of mind.

Abiy proudly claimed he was OLF and worked covertly for OLF while he was woyane's carry boy and head of INSA.
I paid Birr 300 to enter the Andinet park that was built on the land that used to belong to the palace. It is not part of the palace any more and it is not free to enter.
Opposing Abiy is not opposing Ethiopia. He is just an individual with many flaws. He brought misery to the country. Under his tenure, Shashemene and Ataye were completely burnt. Ziway and many other cities within Oromia were destroyed. Thousands of ethnic Amhara are brutally killed and displaced from Oromia and Benshangul regions. And now 50 percent of Amhara region is destroyed and its women and girls rapped , farmers' cattle looted , 9 million Amharas became destitute and displaced. Abiy couldn't bring peace and security to Ethiopian people in general. So if he is not opposed for his incompetency and his unwillingness to resign and give a chance to other capable bodies, then what is the purpose of being conscious?

let's assume that you are opposing him for the weaknesses you raised here, then may we ask about why you are so harshly opposed when he tried to remedy those same problems and tries to bring those responsibile to be hold accountable?
He shouldn't bring those responsible to accountability and at the same time he should be blamed for what the responsibile brought on the country?
What else yet?
He shouldn't resign because he was duly elected to office by the people of Ethiopia and they will not allow him to give power to someone else, let alone your bunch of taxi-drivers. These idiots!

In her attempt to demoralize FANO and to discredit their amazing military victories, the TPLF mouth-piece Meaza said... " I have reached the conclusion that, the Ethiopian government is using FANO to transform the war into a never-ending ethnic conflict between the Amhara and the Tigray..."
Also, in her attempt to justify TPLF's looting frenzy in the Amhara towns and villages, she said "the looting was motivated by hunger, and not by evil intentions."
The woman is pure evil. It's no wonder why the evil agame are advocating for her. ሆዳም!

The so-called learned -minds who blindly argue that Abiy is beyond reproach, despite the facts right in front of them, is most buffing. Abiy has a lot of qualities he can be admired for, and some shortcomings that can be pointed and criticized for. For all practical purposes, Abiy is irreplaceable, but to crown him as an all-knowing person devoid of moral frailties, and those who claim they are more catholic than the pope on his behalf " and who demonize those who criticize Abiy's government are doing a disservice to Abiy himself and the Ethiopian people who they supposedly advocating for. Anyone who advocates and stands unbending to defend sacrosanct life is a hero in my book. Meaza has been doing that for the past 3 years front and center. One can be pro Abiy, still support Meaza on an issue that she dedicated her life for more than any other. Though expedience is the rule of the game in politics, there are few moral stingers who make us stop and think in the midst of unquestioned euphoria.DefendTheTruth wrote: ↑12 Dec 2021, 07:04All these people who became the ardent defender of the woman here have been ardent critics of Abiy Ahmed all along, for whatever reason. Who did he try to bring to justice or hold accountable that are responsible for all the misery that has rained on the country in the last 3 or 4 years since he came to power? Is Eskindir Nega responsible for those atrocities?
On the other hand, has he held President Shimeles of Oromia accountable for the Shashemene destruction, at least for saying "just keep quiet and go back to sleep", when he was informed by the city's mayor that the city was being burnt down?

You can prove me wrong.
Anyone who is forward looking and seeking to get to the bottom of the truth can't take a side with the woman here and attack the PM of Ethiopia, a global Hero by now. Go ahead and pursue it, it will be in vain.
BTW., is this so called Ecuador also yours? Just wondering after reading one of the character's today's accusation under this thread, which is just a copy and paste taken from yours before a year or so.

I know the current priority should focus on eliminating the TPLF junta it’s fake-news fabrication army.
With that being said:
Being against Abiy isn’t being Against Ethiopia and she has every right to oppose Abiy and his regime. This kind of individual idolization is the root cause of our wicked politics.
Horus: grow balls and accept other people have their own mind. Don’t expect everyone to follow your beloved Birhanu to wherever he bend over.

If it was not for Abiy Ahmed, then the "TPLF Junta" would have been most likely raping your own sisters or other your loved ones by now.
Either you stand behind the global fight for JusticeForAll or against the same at this point.
I don't think the woman would have any tangible impact as an oppositionist or supporter and I don't think she would be thrown into jail for opposing Abiy Ahmed, there are thousands of delusional or paid inept servants out there "opposing" the PM and I don't think all are in jail, where they should have belonged to in reality.

I think you are on the right track, it seems to me that Horus has misread your message.
We have to defeat the Goiter of peace and stability in our region and beyond and give a better future to our children, the fight is by now has got a global dimension that is waged in unison, whether we are from Ethiopia or Eritrea, or any other African country, Caribbean countries, the global Diaspora at large and others have all come together to demand JusticeForALL!. NoMore!.
After peace you are invited to visit the beautiful Addis and enjoy Ethiopian hospitality.
Cheers!

You are unquestioning disciple of Abiy .. and you're within your right to be that. However, I don't get the vibe that Abiy wants to be looked at as a person without reproaches. However, it is an acculturation that we passed through for centuries and it is easy to get in that kind of trap. I can tell you without any problems where Abiy's successes and where his shortcomings are , but while you line up the reasons why Abiy is a global hero , why Shimeless is a supreme leader etc I haven't read a single thing you said what Abiy's or Shimele's short comings are. This borderless adulation of leaders and flattering them with hyperbola , and hiding their mistakes under rug is not the way of creating an accountable government. I have tried to point out to you that in order to be held responsible for security failure for people under one's jurisdiction , it is not required that the administrator to be directly involved in the crime . Failure to perform one's legal duty when one has the capacity to do so is a crime by omission . What you are asking is to find a finger print . I guarantee you even if one finds a finger print , you would come up with some kind of reason to explain it away, thus a hear no evil see no evil disciple.

Re: መአዛ መሃመድ፣ ቀንደኛ ጸረ አቢይ! ቦታዋ ቃሊቲ ነው
Folks, what is a mistake? What is an error? What is a weakness? in person or in a leader? These are abstract questions! Abstract questions have no answer. They have no solution. Whether or not Abiy makes mistakes or has errors needs to be located in a specifically defined issue in specific situation and moment. I don't believe that there is any adult human being who would argue that Abiy Ahmed is a super human incapable of making mistakes or failings.
A mistake is an act of mismeasurement and/or a change of previously held belief about something. We measure some thing to be such and such magnitude or nature and when that turns out incorrect we call it mistake. So to talk about any mistake one has to have what is being measure. Similarly, we hold a certain notion or sense of reality to be true and form a belief and when that belief turns out to be false or unfounded, we call mistake. So, in order to talk about a mistake one has to have what was believed that turned out to be false.
Those of you who want to discuss, analyze or criticize abiy's mistakes or failing need to first state at least these very basic procedures. What is the specific matter that Abiy assessed as such that turned out to be of a different magnitude which became a mistake? What specific set of beliefs did Abiy hold that turned out to false and hence led to his errors? This I think is what is missing here.
I am sure Abiy himself and his minister do these kinds of self-examination, iterative, interactive corrections and adaptations. This of course is an ABC of systems thinking and philosophy of action. ግምገማ የሚባለኮ ይህ ነው። In the absence of a measured reality, a measured course of action and some sort of held belief about reality one can't talk about errors. It is abstract, it is meaningless.
Interested folks can look into the science of behavioral economics to see why we make errors in thinking, judgement and decision making and so on.
On the other hand, if I hold an entirely different and/or opposed beliefs and measure of things, I am not sharing the same reality with Abiy and hence I am not talking about mistakes made by Abiy and introducing a different reality, an opposite world. In this case, it would be stupid calling his world a mistake before justifying the correctness my world.
