If Egypt wants to attack our Dam, probably it could be before will fill it to full capacity. Once we fill our dam to full capacity, attacking the dam will destroy Egypt itself as a whole. The sudden release of the water stored in the dam will flood and destroy all the dams on its way to Mediterranean sea including High Aswan dam. That means destruction of all Egypt cities with flood. As you know 95% of Egypt is desert and uninhabitable. All the Cities of Egypt are built along the Nile river. Therefore, it will be suicidal for Egypt to attack the dam once it is filled to full capacity.

I agree with most part of your observation. As I said above, the Nile is not a military target. Egypt can't invade Ethiopia and occupy the water until the end of time. Egypt's objective is to disrupt, delay, and obstruct the Ethiopian process through threat, poliitcal and diplomatic pressures. In other words, Egypt is trying to disrupt Ethiopian development and this is even more annoying. They want to see a perpetually weak Ethiopia until the end time. This is kaka, unacceptable.

Remeber, Ethiopia is the 2nd largest African country with a potential population of 1/4 billion by 2040. When a nation of this size achieves modernity and technical ability, it will have consequential power for the whole Africa east and north. Egypt is seeing the trajectory of things to come.

So, we need to build our military capabilities and in the mean time ignore bluff and build our civilization at the speed of light. This is Ethiopia's turn, there is no stopping !!!
