Do people remember when the low-IQ Weizero Fiyameta, weizero shemaynesh, and weizero fuxxcked up, bombarded people with claims that the Eritrean economy is doing better than the Ethiopian one, and that the Nakfa is one of the strongest currencies in Africa? I am more convinced than ever that the supporters of the sodomite lower the average IQ of Eritreans.
Anyway, back in 2015, under the pretext of changing the Nakfa denominations, the sodomite pulled all the cash from the market. Afterward, the supply of Nakfa was strictly limited. People who deposited their money in the banks were interrogated about its origin and demanded to produce receipts or verifications to prove the funds were earned legally. Just imagine—we are talking about a developing country where the use of receipts is practically non-existent, yet the regime pretends it is leading Luxembourg and demands that citizens prove their income is legal.

After forcing people to put their money into the banks, the regime implemented another rule: the maximum amount of cash a person could withdraw from the bank was capped at 4,000 Nakfa per month. If anyone wanted to withdraw more than 4,000 Nakfa of their own money, they had to write a formal letter justifying the purpose, and it was entirely up to the bank to approve or reject the request. That was in 2015.

Today, the regime is pulling another stunt. Given that the Eritrean economy is virtually non-existent, it is once again demanding that people deposit any cash held outside the system back into the banks. According to the sodomite's flawed logic, this is a "genius" way to fight inflation: just restrict the supply of your own currency, limit how much money citizens can carry, and voilà—inflation is fixed! This is "Economics 2.0."
