We have a problem with prosperity pastors!

Politics not a christian business really speaking. Serving people and community is. You can take gov office as a christian, serve your country, be a good solder but not necessarily involve in polarized politics. The Roman empire was a corrupt and a brutal system. Jesus completed his teaching during this Era when Tiberius Cesar was in power. He never aligned with any political entity. He never incited political upheaval even when the Jews felt oppressed. He preached the gospel to the poor and healed the sick. He taught about his kingdom but not of human kingdom.
Today christians are involved in prosperity gospel by plucking verses, the polarizing and blood shading politics in the world this or that way. Christians should oppose unrighteousness and injustice wherever it occurs, not take side. Not be part of any evil. Unfortunately this is often not the case as we are embroiled into some thug of war now and then. The current self described or appointed pastors, prophets and apostles often get into a mess causing shame to the very word of God they preach or say they stand for.

Particular scenario in view is why in the heavens they get into the review of popular musician Tedy Afro. None of their action is defendable. Evangelicals don’t listen to secular music in the first place. I have no feeling to even measure the impact of the music as i don’t actively listen to secular music. It looks these pastors have been እየኮመኮሙት ነበር ሙዚቃው shaking their shoulders. So any christian that takes side based on this artist is a political pastor with a motive to gain something.

We may be dragged into filthy discussions and dragged into mud by some without will but it is always best to move away and stay clean! For that matter, no saved christian should be a blind supporter of any political entity!
