Egypt will never ever dare to start a war against Ethiopia, it can only outsource it to its longstanding proxies in the region, Sudan and Eritrea.
Sudan is currently bogged down in its own internal civil war, it has no time to add one more fire to put down for itself. Sudan can't execute the proxy's obligation.
Eritrea is the remaining and only scenario of a proxy war on Ethiopia, but the outcome of that scenario is a foregone conclusion. "If the a war starts, then the outcome is very clear" goes the statement in the national parliament of the nation.
