The article doesn’t ask the question that should be asked. Al Mariam detestsTPLF and its politicians. That is not a secret. Why he hates it ? He seemed to have believed TPLF had been a tribal political party that had consistently failed to grow to embrace the nation’s interest.
People could argue whether he is right on his assessment or not.
Why he unequivocally supported Abiy and his party ?
To answer that question refer back to the reason why he hates TPLF.

Before I comment about the above quote, I just want to remind you something. Principle is not something you can buy and sell. A human right is a human right. If you are against those who breach it then you fight them whoever and wherever they are. Period.

Look, Abiy Ahmed who copied directly the work of other nearly 70%, he claimed to be educated with PhD ( in conflict resolution); and in fact, a warded the Nobel Peace prize Someone must be kidding, someone with a terminal degree in conflict resolution; and world peace prize winner become world class violent thug and notorious genocidal. Should not Abiy Ahmed degree cancelled and his Nobel prize revoked. It should have been 100%, but does not matter the public already cancelled all of what he claimed to be awarded - the public bestowed him the most lair in human history. Remeber, more than 60 colleges and universities have revoked honorary degrees previously awarded to Bill Cosby, just because of se>xual allegations including Cosby's alma mater rescinded the degree Temple University: gave him in 1991.

For me, Al-Mariam is not just illiterate but beneath that for the millions of people who cannot read and write do just things and are wise, smart. The same goes Biranu Nega, Sodo-Gordena opportunist who spent his childhood in Addis Ababa pickpocketing like Huresa - that is what he is doing now.
