If I am Egypt, I want to have water in the Nile

US President Donald Trump affirmed during his NATO meeting at the White House on Monday that the lives of Egypt’s people depend on the Nile River, and that his administration will work to resolve the dispute between Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

“If I am Egypt, I want to have water in the Nile,” Trump said during a press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Monday, adding that the Nile is a “very important source of income and life” for Egypt.

In response, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi praised what he called Trump’s “recognition” of the river’s vital importance for Egyptians in his statement on Tuesday.

The United States of America is clinging to Somalia not because Americans care about Somalis but because Somalia is awash with minerals that are vital to the economic prosperity and defense sectors of the United States, thus the US cannot afford to lose natural resources-rich Somalia to its strategic competitors.

Securing access to Somalia’s natural resources is an existential imperative for the United States of America.

This also means that chaotic Ethiopia is not eligible for consideration for the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), Security assistance and military aid suspension will also remain in place.

Donald Trump bragged excitedly like a 14 years old boy to the U. S media during a press conference Thursday about his meeting with Somalia's President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, I thought he was lying.

Just imagine for a second the amount of Prosperity Party’s propaganda if the illiterate Galla scumbag Abiy Ahmed had met President Donald Trump.
