What you dont see: the replacements for those who died: so many vacant ministries and departments.

What you don’t see: the institutions they supposedly lead are in even in worse shape than the condition of the men and women you see. You look at the gentleman in charge of Construction: he is in his mid 80s. Thats senior abuse.

What you don’t see: these men and women who hold big titles have no authority: they knew about this event they are holding 5 minutes before you did.

And the one thought that keeps coming back: a quote by Ambassador Andeberhan W/Ghiorghis in his book “Eritrea At A Crossroads.” The failure is by design.
