Re: Have You Ever Heard People Speaking Jesus's Tongue - Aramaic?
Mel Gibson's "The Passion of the Christ" movie was also filmed in Aramaic.

The sheep herder in this documentary says that the Aramaic spoken in Mel Gibson's movie is a broken one - spoken by Americans, who are known to be barely literate in their own language and are so terrible at learning languages.

Aramaic is the parent language of most of the existing Semitic languages. If you are a Somaliman speaking Hamito-Cushitic language why are surprised by the Syriac speakers of Aramaic? Aaramaic lives on not only the living speakers of Syria but as part of our Semitic languages. The parent of Aramaic is called Ugartic and the parent of Ugaritic language called Eblitic. Finally, we come ancient Egyptian Kmt which the very root of what became Semtic language. Egypt was never a Cushitic civilization. Nubia was Cush. The ancient Kemtic language is very birth place of Semitic language. So as Eritrean, yes you would be related Aramaic, as a Somali you are in the wrong lane.
