Guess what - to try to protest against Egypt's support to Somalia, the mindless enclave has closed a library funded by Egypt in Hargeisa!

There's no a single Egyptian in Somaliland, and the library was only used be the local people. Egypt will simply relocate the library to Mogadishu.

It is, in fact, a very old library, having existed since the 1960s. However, I doubt this alters much; it’s not as though the Egyptians would regard it as a matter of great significance. Rather, it has always functioned more as a cultural center.

What matter is that Somaliland is exercising its agency, its free will, its independence and sovereignty. Somaliland is a free people, a wise people, an intelligent people, a civilized people - a people who is the master its destiny. That is what matters. Every intentional act by a free person is a significant expression of its agency and free will. Sooner or later you will swallow the bitter fact that Somaliland has its own brain to think and decide about its own life. We hope you do the same.
