Eritrea has given the green light to a proposal for the construction of a brand-new international airport in Asmara.

Building anything in Asmara City is a real challenge. Even constructing a bus station seems like an uphill battle, let alone a new airport. It's as if the city has become a curse to society.

It's because ascaris are lazy. They should go back to where came from, Tigray.

kebena, I sympathize with Issu. It seems he is referring to the farmers residing on the outskirts of Asmara city who are adamantly holding onto their land.
I think it's a brilliant idea to move these farmers to Gash Barka and jumpstart some real progress with things like airports, housing, and industrial zones.

If the Eritrean government grants ownership of the land currently being held by Eritrean farmers, they will have the freedom to sell it as they see fit. This could have a significant positive impact on the Eritrean economy, steering it in the right direction. IMHO
