The Somali struggle is our struggle

Post by Deqi-Arawit » 20 Jan 2024, 08:21

When the Soviet Union invaded Finland after the Finnish government rejected the land swap offered by Marshal Joseph Stalin, the Soviet Union invaded the Nordic country. Despite their superior numbers, the Soviets failed to quickly subdue the Finnish army. During these days, the Swedish volunteer corps established a regiment comprising Swedes to join the Finnish army and fight alongside the Finns. Similarly, the Somali struggle is, more or less, our struggle too, and let me explain why.

Before the sub-human Gala PM signed the memorandum of understanding between the renegade region of Somalia and Ethiopia, allowing Somaliland to cede a chunk of Somali territory to Ethiopia for the deployment of its nonexistent navy, the sub-human Gala tested uncharted waters by claiming that Alula was fighting to secure Ethiopia a sea outlet and that Ethiopia is the rightful owner of the Red Sea—an argument typical of Ethiopians that persists regardless of who is in power. The Gala presented no new formula or solution; it was the same repetitive, boring diversionary tactic repeated by low IQ Ethiopian leaders. As Einstein stated, 'Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.' We could be certain that Ethiopian leaders are insane fools.

Haile Selassie!
Emperor Haile Selassie had total control of Eritrea's coastal areas, including the ports of Assab and Massawa. According to the federation pact, Eritrea would be an autonomous region with the Eritrean parliament in control of internal affairs while defense and foreign matters would be the responsibility of the monarch. However, the monarch abolished the federation pact, declared Eritrea the 13th region of Ethiopia, and coerced the nobility to adopt the Amharic language. This move became unbearable and served as a catalyst for Eritrean youngsters to join the front and carry arms. The rest is history.

Mengistu Haile Mariam
Mengistu was a stubborn mule. Until his army cracked and lost Afaabet and Massawa, he showed no crack or goodwill for negotiations. However, once he realized his inevitable defeat, he proposed a formula later emulated by leeches and Galas. According to his plan, Eritrea would be divided into three regions—western, central, and Dankalia. Dankalia would be a separate entity, ultimately joining Wollo. The EPLF thwarted his plans, and he fled to Harare, Zimbabwe.

The Agames
Similar to the Gala, after failing to impress the Amhara in other fields, the Agames embarked on a mission to teach the nobility a lesson and grab Assab, regardless of the human and material costs. Under their Anglo-Saxon custodian, they made numerous unsuccessful attempts to seize Assab. However, all their efforts was a total failure. Upon returning to Addis Ababa empty handed, they commanded the people to cheer for the Ethiopian armed forces, claiming they liberated the dusty town of Badme. Courtesy of former spokesperson of the Ethiopian Ministry, Miss Solome Tease.

The Agames didn't give up their plan to grab Assab easily though. Under their custodian's support, some Ethiopian Afars with fish-lip charcoal skins established an Eritrean Afar state in exile, headquartered in Belgium. Mayor of Serayes and alleged Ivy League student Andeberhan Weldegerish and other idiots held seminars justifying their existence, essentially declaring their intent to disintegrate the land of the nobility. However, with the demise of the leeches, there is no news from separatist movements, be it Afars or Kunama. They all are waving the Eritrean flag high. Now, the leeches are left with the Tihlo People Liberation Front of Akelguziay, which stands for Berged Nehamedu.

The Gala repeated the same formula, and this time, their victims are the Somalis. As we say in Eritrea, 'ብጻይካ ክላጸ፣ ጾግርኻ ማይ ክዓወሉ።,' which means when you see your friend shaving his hair, make sure to pour water on your hair because you are next in line to be shaved. If they are not stopped in the renegade Somali region, what assurance do we have that they will stop there?

To be continued."

interesting because we've the exact same saying/proverb in Somali - "Ninkii qayrkii loo xiirayow, adna soo qoyso."

Deqi,

I don’t think Abbiy is serious. But, he knows he can ride in power as long as he wants by playing the access to the sea card. Let me explain. If he was serious, why just sign a memorandum. Just recognize Somali Land and sign the contract right here and then. The Somali Landers assumed that the memorandum was to give them recognition out right. Later on, he denied that Ethiopia recognition. Dead on arrival you might say. The UN mission is to make sure that the sovereignty of a member state is protected at any cost. Otherwise, the planet would be doomed if that is not the case so. If the Horn of Africa gets engulfed with war, Ethiopia surely will be disintegrated. That is the risk Ethiopians face as long as this little twerp plays dangerous games. It is very interesting and theatrical to say the least to see what is coming to the horn.

Dedeb Askaris,
The Little frog that tried to be an elephant, that is tiny Eritrea.
The Somalians are a lot smarter than you think. They know what you are up to.
They will stick with Ethiopia and prosper.
Deceits, manipulation and conning will take you to no where. Prepare for a post Issias dark era and the union of the Afar brothers for self rule.
What goes around will come around.

Do you Ethiopians too have this thoughtful saying in your languages?

Part two.
Eritreans are jealous of Ethiopia
After the memorandum of understanding between the separatist Somali region and Ethiopia became public, even ardent opponents of Abiye became his supporters. Eritreans who expressed disapproval of the arrangement were dismissed, with the claim that they were just jealous of Somaliland because the renegade Somali region was about to receive massive revenue from its port and services.

Firstly, if renting services to foreign customers could lift people from poverty, Djibouti would be a first-world country equal to Singapore or Hong Kong yet Despite renting its port to Ethiopia, the unemployment rate in Djibouti is almost 30%, despite the country having less than one million inhabitants.

Secondly, if Ethiopia were as prosperous as some Ethiopians believe it to be, it wouldn't negatively impact neighboring countries, including Eritrea. Economic success of a huge country often leads to regional prosperity through supply chains. For instance, Japan's economic miracles enabled the Asian tiger economies (Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong) to prosper through a supply chain between the countries. Even after the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Germany pulled Eastern European countries, mainly Poland and the Baltic countries (Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia), from poverty through a supply chain. Car manufacturers like Mercedes or Volkswagen for instances, despite being of German origin, have components manufactured throughout the entire European Union, including Eastern Europe. This supply chain created employment opportunities and lifted Eastern Europeans from poverty. Hence, why do nut cases Ethiopians think that their imaginary prosperity is detrimental to others? If anything, it reflects a twisted, poor, and backward mindset.

Ethiopia is ዓቢ ሓርኢ፣ መሰታ ቀዳሞት ዓርኪ ዳሕረዎት
In our family, there are five boys and two daughters. My mother always expects the elders to behave according to their age, displaying maturity, taking care of their siblings, and showing concession and forgiveness for minor wrongdoings by the youngsters. Simultaneously, if a youngster becomes disrespectful, she immediately admonishes them as audacious like death, [ደፋር ከም ሞት]. Sometimes, she even held the hand of the youngster so that the elders could beat the crap out of him to keep him inline and maintain order. In contrast, if some how, the elderly display infantile tendencies and plays with children which are younger than his age, she say, ዓቢ ሓርኢ, መሰታ ቀዳሞት ዓርኪ ዳሕረዎት which means literally big sh@it, who is born early but whose friends are late comers. And Ethiopia is not different than what my mother describes, a big sh@@it which despite long history is in the league of later comers. If Ethiopians insist to claim that they are the true heir to the axumite empire, their competitive partners should have been Persia, India,China and Turkey not the democratic republic of Congo Kinshasa and other failed countries.

interesting because we've the exact same saying/proverb in Somali - "Ninkii qayrkii loo xiirayow, adna soo qoyso."
And that's why you are both loosers , because you are constantly afraid of others.

Obviously, you're a perfect blueprint to build a complete idiot.

What has the saying which is prevalent both in Somalia, including your mindless enclave, Eritrea, and maybe other communities, got to do with being losers or being afraid of others?

Get off khat, kid, it's corrupting your poor intelligence further.

The only thing zoomalians and Eritreans are in common with is their lack of vision for the future. And constant fear mongering. That's all you do. You piece of a shiits. At least the Eritreans are more paranoid and keep their [deleted] efficiently. But you are a whorrre. Every one can enter your hole. Somalia is disgrace to the Somali race. You beg soldiers from Burundi. When you have millions of young men who can do the same job. That's how low you are What's the purpose of your life if you can't police your villages.
