Yes we the Eritrean people need to stop saying peace and prosperity to Eritrea and Ethiopia and putting our beautiful flag alongside the ugly Ethiopian flag in a lame excuse of peace. These freaking Ethiopians and their leaders don’t either appreciate our sincerity or are taking as weak, beggars and as if we love them more than we love ourselves.
We should not give a damn about their internal peace or their prosperity.
We are Eritreans and we should only focus on our peace and prosperity. These are evils which so far never gave us peace nor a chance to work on our prosperity.
Yes as a human being I want all people and countries which never hurt Eritrea to have peace and prosperity. But I am in a point that I don’t give a sh’it about Ethiopia’s internal peace or its prosperity.
Eritrea was never got hurt by any former colonialists even by the fascist Italian empire except by these shame of Africa country called cursed and envious Ethiopia.
So, I don’t know about my other Eritrean people, but I am not going to go out of my way to wish this cursed land Ethiopia peace or prosperity and I am in a point unlike Eritrean govt who advocates for one peaceful and prosperous country called Ethiopia, I don’t care even if it get disintegrated to 100 tiny little cursed and poor countries.
Enough is enough. We the Eritrean people should not be the only ones who dream for peace and prosperity for all.
So, just work, dream, wish peace and prosperity only to Eritrea and its people.

The thing is that due to the fact that you remained part of Ethiopia for so long in the past, many Ethiopians are still treating you as Ethiopians, or part of Ethiopia, and many Eritreans are equally treating themselves as Ethiopians. Such feelings do not necessarily need to be verbally expressed, as they can be the subconscious or inner self repository of own thoughts or emotions.
The thing is that due to the fact that you remained part of Ethiopia for so long in the past, many Ethiopians are still treating you as Ethiopians, or part of Ethiopia, and many Eritreans are equally treating themselves as Ethiopians. However, the current state of affairs is a result of weak and incapable leaders who have little knowledge and expertise to lead the country. The majority of Ethiopians are currently facing immense challenges and fighting hard to overcome the oppressive minority regime in power, just as they did with the former TPLF terrorists the founding father of pee-pee party. Despite the odds, I remain hopeful that Ethiopians will eventually overcome the challenges and work towards peace and prosperity with all the neighboring countries. What Ethiopia needs right now is a leader with a capable mental state and a solid education to steer the country towards a brighter future.

Brother Fed_Up forgive me but as they say like father like son or daughter the supposedly peaceful Ethiopians are willingly or not part of the evil empire.
Why isn’t an Ugandan or Kenyan or Colombian etc care a bout their internal affairs or peace or prosperity.
Regardless of all the evil deeds done to Eritrea by their previous leaders, we were willing to wish them peace.
Man, yes my blood boils down when I analyze the evil done to Eritrea by their parents which is Ethiopia. So Ethiopias kids are evil in my eyes. Germany is paying reparations to Israhell for their grandparents evil done on the Jewish people and Germany is still kissing Israhell’s a’ss.
Well I will reconsider my views only when Ethiopia starts respecting us and our country and start paying billions dollars for using our country (ports) included and dispersing us all over the world as we speak.
We don’t have kissy kissy relationship with the Turks, Egyptians, Greece, Italy and British…..they didn’t even hurt us a bit. But these [deleted] did and still believe that we are part of them and want to play their stupid games.

I agree with both of you. Firstly, let me confess that I have been a strong wisher for a united Ethiopia at peace with all its neighbors. But let's face it and accept the truth. The truth is, if Ethiopians don't want to work for a united, democratic, and peaceful country with its neighbors, regardless of what we wish, it won't happen. We are witnessing the apparent crumbling of the less than 100-year-old Ethiopian Empire. Regardless of our Eritrean government's trademark of wanting Ethiopia to remain "United", no matter how loud and how often we utter that word, it won't happen. It won't, until and unless the Ethiopian constituents want it. So as far as I am concerned, Ethiopia can go and get undone. The vocal Ethiopians better understand that no Eritrean assets or parts thereof can be seized by Ethiopia. So, these "3000 years", "we have never been defeated", or "colonized", and denying that the Ethiopian boundary was defined by colonial powers (just like the rest of Africa) won't do you any good. Wake up before it is too late.

If Ethiopia was to break up like the former Yugoslavia, it is of our own making, because our actions today are characterized by our exaggerated sense of self-importance and a sense of foreign-aid entitlement which has destroyed the very bond that holds the country together. We knew the union was a forgone conclusion when agame snakes injected the country with their ethnic federalism venom. The whole thing is hopeless when you look at it in a holistic way, so I don't fault you Eritreans for how you're feeling right now.
