The people of Ethiopia have proven time and again that they are God fearing people. I have nothing but love for the people of Ethiopia. I just wish prosperity and peace for Ethiopia and our region in general. Here are the reasons why I believe Ethiopia is changed forever....

1. First and foremost, the worst enemy of Ethiopia and the people of Ethiopia by the name TPLF who have never shown the courage to even spell out Ethiopia, the country name, have become history. They wanted Ethiopia only to loot every penny of the country wealth and massacring and sterilize innocent Ethiopians. Now, the coward TPLF goons are busy making tones of useless statements from their hiding in Mekelle holes like rats.

2.Today, Ethiopia is led by a very responsible government that understands what real federalism is all about unlike TPLF's fake Federalism. The current leadership respects all ethnics and at the same time loves Ethiopia as a country.. Today, the owners of Oromia killil are just the people of Oromo. The owners of Tigray are just agames. The owners of Somali killil are just the people of Somali, the owners of Amhara killil are just the people of Amhara, et.c. .. At the same time, the government has been working to create peace in every corner of Ethiopia so that any Ethiopian can live anywhere in Ethiopia without fear..It is not easy to undo all the messes TPLF has been carrying our through its agents with the looted Ethiopia wealth and I am sure it will take a little bit time to accomplish the goal.

3. The people of Oromo who had happened to be the sleeping majority for decades if not over a century have waken up and now they know what their fair share is. I don't see they will be going back to old times when they felt marginalized. They will not let anybody to bully them anymore...

4. The people of Tigray are now a little bit in a better position than anytime in the last 100 years even though I am concerned that TPLF might have done significant damage by inflating the egos of the Tigrayan youth especially the young intellectuals. Agames have to do better with tackling locust invasion though .. Just whistling and screaming a lone does not work even if you do it 24 hrs. a day loudly

5. I am sure the very few useless Neftegna አዛውንቶች in diaspora have realized that the old unitary Ethiopia is gone for good.. It is a new day in Ethiopia and the only way out is to move forward.. not backward.

I understand there might be people who either don't agree with or love my take about the current Ethiopia...But any different ideas and opinions or corrections are welcome.

At last but not least, I would like to congratulate the Oromo Queerroo lions and the young Amhara fannos warriors who sacrificed so much to change Ethiopia forever.

Ethiopians appreciate your good gesture. However, I don't think you wish a Bantustan system for the good people of Eritrea. The weyane designed so-called "ethnic federation " is not a federation . Its designed to extend the life of weyanes in power. As it was the case in apartheid South Africa, the idea of bantustan-like federation wasn't to bring a true democratic federation but to facilitate the 5% to control 95%. So the so-called ethnic federal system now functioning is the continuation of the same system. Though self-administration and balance of power between the federal and state is a good thing, if the state law discriminates against Ethiopians based on their nationality in principle it is against citizenship. That is the kind of system we have at this time. It must be thoroughly changed to make it democratic.

Thank you for the response. You are absolutely correct that TPLF's intention of ethnic federalism was to stay on power forever by antagonizing peoples of different ethnicity specially between the people of Amhara and Oromo. Unfortunately, the goals of TPLF's ethnic federalism goes beyond that. Today there are still innocent Ethiopians getting killed in many parts of Ethiopia when TPLF is hiding in Mekelle holes. No, I don't not support TPLF's ethnic federalism for any country let alone for my current Eritrea because it was used as a tool to divide and rule the people as well as to prolong the grip of power. The intention of TPLF's ethnic federalism is absolutely toxic!!!

However, you and I can't deny the fact that there are also tens of millions of Ethiopians who are obliged to support the existing Federalism because they feel they had been marginalized by the previous unitary government system for decades if not for over a century . For example, Ethiopians under the age of 40 know nothing except ethnic federalism. We also understand the fact that Ethiopia is such a huge country with so diverse societies, over 80 different ethnics. Whether we like it or not Ethiopia is changed forever and I don't see Ethiopia going back to the old unitary system.

I kind of feel that you are envious of the the ethnic federalism that has flourished south of Eritrea ,that spreaded freedom equality peace and prosperity across the blessed country . We all wish that all the Eritrean nationalities that failed to share this blessing, the Afars, Bliens, Hidarebs, Kunamas, Naras, Rashaidas, Sahos, Tigres and Tigrinyas all would have the same opportunity to enjoy the blassing of Ethnic federalism all ethiopina nationalities enjoy.HYPOCRITE per excellence.
