The cairo summit on sudan conclusion:Cairo 7-13-2023 (SUNA) - The Summit of Sudan's Neighboring Countries concluded today in Cairo its work. Here follows (SUNA) the statement: -
At the invitation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Heads of State and Government of the Central African Republic, Chad, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, and South Sudan participated in a summit of Sudan’s neighboring countries in Cairo on July 13, 2023, in the presence of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and the Secretary The year of the League of Arab States, to discuss how to address the Sudanese crisis, where the participants agreed on the following:
1. Express deep concern about the continuation of military operations and the sharp deterioration of the security and humanitarian situation in Sudan, and call upon the warring parties to stop the escalation and commit to an immediate and sustainable cease-fire to end the war, and avoid the loss of lives of innocent civilians among the Sudanese people and the destruction of property.
2. Emphasizing full respect for the sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of Sudan, non-interference in its internal affairs, dealing with the existing conflict as an internal matter, and emphasizing the importance of non-interference of any external parties in the crisis, which hinders efforts to contain it and prolongs its duration.
3. Emphasizing the importance of preserving the Sudanese state, its capabilities and institutions, and preventing its disintegration or fragmentation and the spread of chaos factors, including terrorism and organized crime in its vicinity, which will have extremely dangerous repercussions on the security and stability of neighboring countries and the region as a whole.
4. The importance of dealing with the current crisis and its humanitarian consequences in a serious and comprehensive manner, taking into account that the continuation of the crisis will result in an increase in the displaced and the influx of more people fleeing the conflict into neighboring countries, which will represent additional pressure on their resources that exceed their ability to absorb, which requires the need for society to bear International and donor countries for their responsibility in allocating appropriate amounts of pledges that were announced at the relief conference in support of Sudan, which was held on June 19, 2023 in the presence of neighboring countries.
5. Expressing grave concern about the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Sudan, condemning the repeated attacks on civilians and health and service facilities, and calling on all parties of the international community to make every effort to provide urgent relief assistance to address the acute shortage of food, medicine and health care supplies, in a way that alleviates the severity of the serious repercussions. crisis over innocent civilians.
6. Agreeing to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid provided to Sudan through the territories of neighboring countries, in coordination with the concerned international agencies and organizations, and to encourage the safe passage of aid to deliver it to the areas most in need inside Sudan, and to call on the various Sudanese parties to provide the necessary protection for international relief personnel.
7. Emphasizing the importance of a political solution to stop the ongoing conflict, and launching an inclusive dialogue for the Sudanese parties aimed at starting a comprehensive political process that meets the aspirations and aspirations of the Sudanese people for security, prosperity and stability.
8. Agreeing to form a ministerial mechanism on the Sudanese crisis at the level of foreign ministers of neighboring countries, to hold its first meeting in the Republic of Chad, to take the following: ▪ Develop an executive action plan that includes developing practical and implementable solutions to stop the fighting and reach a comprehensive solution to the Sudanese crisis through direct communication. With the various Sudanese parties, in complementarity with the existing mechanisms, including IGAD and the African Union.
▪ Assigning the communication mechanism to discuss the executive measures required to address the repercussions of the Sudanese crisis on the future of Sudan's stability, unity and territorial integrity, to preserve its national institutions and prevent them from collapsing, to put in place guarantees that ensure limiting the negative effects of the crisis on neighboring countries, and to study the mechanism for delivering humanitarian and relief aid to the Sudanese people. .
▪ The mechanism presents the results of its meetings and its recommendations to the upcoming summit of Sudan's neighboring countries.

ترحب قوات الدعم السريع، بالبيان الختامي لقمة دول الجوار السوداني التي انعقدت في جمهورية مصر العربية بدعوة من فخامة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي والتي جاءت متسقة مع الجهود الاقليمية والدولية المبذولة لوقف الحرب في السودان وتبني الحل الشامل أساساً لمعالجة المشكلة السودانية، وهو ما يمثل انتصاراً لرؤيتنا التي ظللنا ننادي بها منذ بداية الحرب.
هذه الخطوة تمثل دفعة قوية للجهود المبذولة والمتواصلة من قبل المملكة العربية السعودية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التي تهدف للتوصل إلى اتفاق وقف إطلاق النار وإيصال المساعدات الإنسانية وحماية المدنيين.
إننا إذ نرحب بقمة دول الجوار السوداني؛ ندعو إلى تكامل الجهود الدولية والإقليمية كافة بتوحيد المبادرات المطروحة لتسهيل وتسريع الوصول للحل الشامل لا سيما مع منبر جدة ومبادرة الايغاد.
وهنا نتوجه بجزيل الشكر للمملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة على رعايتها وتنظيمها لمؤتمر المانحين وكل الدول التي شاركت في المؤتمر الذي سعى لتوفير المساعدات للشعب السوداني.
نشيد أيضاً بجهود الأمم المتحدة، الاتحاد الافريقي، الايغاد، الاتحاد الأوروبي، الجامعة العربية، واللجنة الرباعية، كما نعرب عن تقديرنا الخاص لجهود الدول الشقيقة والصديقة كافة التي دعمت وتعاطفت مع شعبنا خلال هذه الأزمة.
تؤكد قوات الدعم السريع استعدادها التام للعمل مع جميع الفاعلين في الداخل والخارج من أجل التوصل إلى حل جذري للأزمة السودانية عبر استعادة المسار المدني الديمقراطي لرفع المعاناة عن شعبنا.
